LINES
that third line was putrid yesterday-horny and mccann need to be on top 2 lines. 3/4 line one needs to be shutdown and the other some energy. some combo of lafferty, sheary, bjustad, rodriguez, bjudsatd, marleau. the PP needs some movement maybe reworked with crosby, malkin, marleau, horny, letang.

somewhat healthy-this week-must win-tonite lines
agree-the team should look very different with the d pairings back to normal just their ability to move up ice smoother should open up the ice and maybe show the speed game.

2 year window
Im guessing they have to trade one or the other or more than likely lose one in the expansion draft, probably cant afford both. i like jost but not sure colorado needs a goalie

Eugene needs to spend the money on someone next year
why would they do that? unless they are going all in they have to stick to the plan and hope your mgmt team can draft and develop. this is at least a three year proposition.

i like what marleau brings to the third line and flexibility with top 2 lines , they just got 4 lines to roll through again. dont know much about rodrgues but speeed and tenacity-kind of Tanev light.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>AFOX10900</b></div><div>I don't get the ANA trade, Bjugstad is usually worth about a second, maybe a bit more, and JJ for Ritchie is just no, and EDM says thanks for fixing their goalies past this year, and giving up a pick that nearly covers the value of who you're getting back (I'd give up a 4th and later pick for Pulju or a third, not Jarry+...)</div></div>
Anaheim: cap crunch move incentive to take johnson anaheim needs a 3C
Edmonton: goingto lose jarry if they try to clear waivers other optionis to trade desmith
Buffalo: hate to give up rusty but hate our defense.

but troll on little one.
they used 40 players last year-you are a one of a kind GM the one that lives in fantasy land!
If you think 200k is the difference between someone OS Pettersson you are an idiot.
If someone was going to OS him they could do it at under 4,227,437 for a 2nd round pick and it would have happened by now because we all know the Penguins can't match that and not one ACGM on here has him going for that much.
But no one is going to do that.
That's all there is to that. So PLEASE for the love of god, pull your head out your backside.</div></div>

not enough bro but keep trying-no way to make it through the year with 17k in cap space. Maybe reality will set in for you about the need to sell off some assets and in so doing you have to part with value and even dare I say 1st round picks. Nobody wants your buried treasure....

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>pharrow</b></div><div>it will cost little to nothing to move JJ. I'm not sure where you even get this mess from.
If anything, the only thing holding up a JJ deal is they don't have anyone to replace him other than Riikola and I don't know if they trust him to fill that role.
Those are the facts.
If they had anyone they felt comfortable with filling that role he'd already be gone.</div></div>

only an idiot gives up a 1st to trade JJ.
The market for LD is bare.</div></div>
JJ's contract is what is killing any deal-if the pens think they have 2/3 window one 1st rnd pick is not going to matter. I would argue giving JJ 5 yr deal is what was idiotic.
