Just Wanted To See How It Looks

Yup lol giving up the three firsts is very ballsy but I loveeee this team

Columbus definitely says no.
Forsberg probably needs 10.

Can't really keep anyone on the current team because you don't know what would have happened from this day until now. Also, Zboril was ranked right where he was picked and was Chabot's partner in Saint John. So pick 2/3 of Barzal/Connor/Chabot and no guarantee they would all be here due to cap constraints. Would definitely have more assets though.

Arguably the best top pairing in the league alongside those guys in Colorado

If the Bruins didn’t screw up 2015 as bad as they did, I don’t think we are talking about a rebuild or even a Pastrnak trade this year.

What Boston could get for its pending UFAs next year

Hagel was not a rental.

How about Necas, 2023 first, 2024 2nd, Bokk and Suzuki for Pastrnak (8x10 extension included). The 2024 second is conditional: if Pastrnak scores 100 points, it upgrades to a first.
Probably is a lesser return than what he would normally get, but there are rumors starting to come out about him seeing how Krug and Krecji were dumped by Sweeney and how he might want out. Take it with a grain of salt, since they are rumors, but those kinds of rumors will hurt your value. One way or another, if Pastrnak isn’t signed this off season, I think he walks out of Boston.
I can’t really see many teams really wanting to give up what Boston would want for Pastrnak when they could tank this year for a shot at Bedard and then sign Pastrnak in the off-season. Assuming he isn’t traded and then proceed to walk, I am pretty sure he goes to a team who is in the prime of their cup window or a team whose window is just opening. Carolina might be willing to give up most of the pieces that Boston would want, but if the rumors are true, his value sinks a bit, and I think the Bruins would have to settle either for the best offer or nothing at all.
For a Pastrnak trade sweepstakes, I think the front runners would be Carolina, LA, Dallas, Anaheim, NJ, Detroit, Ottawa, Buffalo and maybe NYI.

Honestly don’t care who you follow or who you’re a fan of, you made the post. Just tired of the Folingo to Columbus trades.

I don't think you'd get a 2nd for Haula either - but maybe. and no real reason to grab a 5th for Clifton especially with how sweeney has drafted.</div></div>
What if Pasternak doesn't get an extension and is just a rental?

Sabres need a middle 6 RHD.. Not sure how he'd pair with Power or if they should look for a different kind of player. He's done well in Boston regardless.

The Sabres don't have much need for left d (dahlin, power, Samuelsson, bryson). I can see going after a bigger guy to play on the third pair, but there's no way we would be moving a 2nd for it. Depth left d can be had pretty cheap, just look for a guy making 3-4 million on a cap strapped team, probably a late round pick gets it done. But there is no chance buffalo is moving anything meaningful for Reilly.

Columbus isn’t giving up 12th OA for a winger, we really have no need for another wing.

Thoughts
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Propeller09</b></div><div>I sort of disagree.
A) I don't either signs a long term deal now. I hope I am wrong as I would love for both to be locked up for the next 8 years, but I believe McAvoy turned down a deal similar to Ekblad's.
B) I think the two year window helps the Bruins a little. Their core is aging, but it's really Marchand and Bergeron - I know Chara, but as much of a leader as he is, his on ice play isn't that of a core player anymore. Still a top 4, but when I think core, I think guys to build around. I am not as concerned about middle to late 30 year old goalie, so I don't count Rask in that.
To me their Core is: Bergeron 33, Marchand 31, Pastrnak 23, Debrusk 22, McAvoy 21, Carlo 22 & krug 27 - That core doesn't feel particularly old to me.
I think they also want/expect Studnicka, Vaakanainan, Lauko & Frederic to enter the "Core" conversation in the next 2 years.
Krejci is the outlier, but they seemed ready to move on from him last year during the Tavares sweepstakes, so he is fringe core to me.</div></div>
Exactly why locking up McAvoy and Carlo long-term is important those 2 are core players with that D all locked up they'd have a formidable D long-term and can concentrate on Replacing Bergeron and Marchand over the next 3/4 seasons

Boston with Trouba
Wow strange finding u here again. Like me, he made this team based off the rumor of Trouba potentially getting signed by Boston and showing how he would handle the team. Nobody has a hard on for Trouba. It's just a rumor that is scaring every Bruins fan to death and we want to know what the contract would look like on the team. <div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BruinsForTheWin</b></div><div><i>Why does everyones pants get tight for Trouba? He's a glorified Luke Shenn or what Carlo could be as soon as this coming year. It's called buy low sell high, not buy an asset at peak value (eventhough he hasn't gotten better much) then watch it plateau.</i></div></div>
