The guy gave 9 years of his career, and the Islanders made the playoffs ONCE in that time! They play their home games in a basketball arena for God's sake...and there's no clear solution to that in sight. Having no idea where the team is going to play it's home games isn't a problem to you? If your honest, the Islanders have been run horribly for the last 15 years, do you accuse them of betraying their players? Lou Lamarillo showing up for a week doesn't make all of that go away!

I know it hurts as a fan to see such a great player get away but he exercised his contractually given right to leave, kudos to him for having the balls to do what (to everyone on the outside) looks like the smart move. If you want to be mad at someone, be mad at the organization for letting him walk and getting NOTHING in return. The team would be just fine had they hauled in a proper kings ransom for having moved him, they'd be sitting pretty right now. That's the real crime, fans should be furious with the team!</div></div>

I completely agree with the fact that the organization was pathetic but he kept saying he wanted to bring the cup to Long Island they went out and got lou Lamoriello and Barry Trotz and JT left. It’s not that he left it’s that he said the whole time he was going to stay and said don’t trade me. Also he should’ve let the islanders know earlier and not leave them in the dark as he has spent nine years on the island

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>trickydick55</b></div><div>okay you didn't answer my question but alright lets tackle your smug ass comment.

no matter what you do at 3C you will not be able to sign both lee and eberle unless one of them takes a team friendly deal. even if you could, having 3 strong centers is way better than having lee and Eberle. Beauvillier is going to get a bridge deal - hes had one okay year and one good year. he has no arbitration rights, so why would lou offer up a big contract?

So again ill ask you, or maybe you aren't mentally capable of answering simple questions: in a year with a cap expansion, and few centers in the market what do you think Bozak is going to get if 4.7 is too much?</div></div>

Also your comment about a third center being more valuable than Lee and Eberle is laughable. Lee scored 40 goals and Eberle had 20 and worked well with Barzal. Both of them are team guys and you can’t say they won’t be able to re sign both of them.
