Fire Stan plus a word on Keith plus Offseason Moves

I would be interested in MAF as a cap dump OR to facilitate him to another team. Outright paying for him (even this amount) isn’t doing much for the hawks.
Seattle should take CDH, but they won’t.
Edit: I honestly find it highly unlikely that Stan Bowman will get fired because of the allegations, the hawks will blame it on guys who have left the organization recently and their legal defense will probably hold up…</div></div>
Agreed.
IF MAF is a cap dump, the Hawks aren't sending much back, and will probably net a prospect or pick (or both) back. The Hawks clearing $5MM+ off the books to turn around and pay an aging goalie $7MM+ isn't in their plans w/o some sort of compensation.

I didn't mean to have him still at #2C. He'd be a 4th liner/scratch. I'll edit it.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TCS2020</b></div><div>Hawks won’t be giving out that contract to Hamilton Per Scott Powers they didn’t ever have serious interest in Eichel because they don’t see how the team could be competitive with three players making 10 million. also getting both Hamilton and Jones is a major Blockade for Boqvist to ever reach his potential</div></div>
I'm convinced* that they said that to throw off other teams.
*I'm in denial.
<em>IF</em> something like that happened, I could see Boqvist as a trade chip further down the line.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Gmonwy</b></div><div>Flames could probably find better backup in FA. Or just use Zagidulin</div></div>
Probably. He was moved for the sake of moving to a team that needed goalie help. And frankly, a 3rd might be too much for him.

Rebuilding isnt real
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jco5ta5</b></div><div>False. Toews and Kane will be on the books after their contracts expire. No way either hit free agency. Also, Pius Suter is not signing for $750,000. Try $2M.</div></div>
Yeah, they'll probably have extensions.
I tried to sign Suter for the $2MM but CapFriendly was having issues w/ that when I tried.

Rebuilding isnt real
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>PreemoForGM</b></div><div>Suter isn’t a fourth liner. Dougie is not the answer at D. We got some quick kids who move the puck. We need some vets who candle a hard defensive workload not offensive dmen.</div></div>
Suter would be if Toews came back. That pushes the depth down further. A great team needs a really good fourth line, not just a bunch of bubble players.
I've had a crush on Dougie since his days w/ Boston. So, I'm going after him.
If the Hawks don't need/sign a goalie, they can spend more money elsewhere, but they absolutely need help. Sure the young kids w/ their speed are great, but the Hawks still need more depth at D. Getting top-end help really makes the depth better. Adding to the bottom does nothing for the top-pairing(s).

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>evelutions2</b></div><div>You don’t even need ullmark. You got lankinen who is projected to be the next Crawford. You also have Delia who has proven himself to be very reliable this season. You have subban but he would be the third goalie</div></div>
I just want to know if they're actually good goalies, or did they have spurts where they looked like a true #1? Crow was thrown into the deep end (middle of a three cup run) and looked really good while swimming in it.

Probably. And that's still fine. There's next to nothing on the books in the next few years after the Toews, Kane, and Keith contracts expire.
