Description
In response to an offer from NucksFan.

Swapping two WSH rentals and their rights for one VAN rental and his rights. VAN gets some secondary scoring potential to play with Boeser/Pettersson as well as a guy who drives puck possession when he gets a chance to play. WSH gets its 6th round pick back to compensate for losing two players with no guarantee of re-signing Hutton.

Picks going both ways are conditional on a certain number of minutes played down the stretch and either of the main RFAs resigning with their new team.

You are close here ... replace Jaskin with a D prospect like Fehervary to get it done

The last thing this team needs is another LHD. Hot damn. Both Djoos and Siegenthaler are better than Hutton.

I agree on the LHD comment, wouldn't be my first choice, but sometimes you don't get to dictate who is available (and this was in response to a very specific post/question on another thread). Definitely disagree on your comment regarding Djoos & Siegenthaler...Hutton plays about 6 more minutes per night, 0.07 more PPG, has more than double the points share of both (combined). His even strength Corsi isn't great, I will grant you that, but playing him on a 3rd pairing and allowing him to eat minutes to rest your better players is still a win, in my opinion.

Conditional 2nd round pick more or less covers this, right? If not, VAN is free to re-sign Hutton after this season. Fehervary was a 2nd round pick and Hutton was a 5th round pick, so the conditional 2nd rounder should be sufficient value, in my opinion. If VAN was adamant about Fehervary or a similar-level defensive prospect on an ELC, I would say that player plus Burakovsky with no pick from WSH, and then maybe bump the 6th from VAN up to a 4th...
