<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TanSor</b></div><div>Why do you say that? Granlund is on pace for three consecutive 60+ point seasons. He's not quite a Panarin or Stone, but he's signed an additional year so he's more than just a rental for Nashville. Fiala is a good young player and Tolvanen is a good young prospect, but I don't think Tolvanen will live up to the hype of becoming an elite top-line goal scorer (I see him as more of a potential top 6 player who will score more than he gets apples). Tolvanen is also probably another year or two out from being NHL ready and probably another additional year in the NHL in a lesser role before he starts to blossom, the Preds best shot at a cup is the next couple years IMO and they don't have time to wait for Tolvanen. It's defintiely a high price to pay for a player, but as I said Granlund is more than a rental for them and he's an upper-echelon player.

Zucker is shooting at 9.2% this year, which is well below his career average of 12.2%. He's severely snakebitten and while I don't quite think he'll be the 33 goal scorer he was last year, he will definitely be above 20 goals each year. Can you say the same for Virtanen? That remains TBD. Virtanen was thrown to the dogs way too early and I don't ever see his hype becoming realized. To me his a perennial 15-20g/30-40p guy and 40p's is stretching it. Gaudette is a wild-card, he's produced in the AHL but he's largely unproven at the NHL level. Canucks are getting a sure-thing here with Zucker who has a long-term deal in place.</div></div>

VAN is not looking at Zucker - Severely snake-bitten??? 9.2 % is pretty normal ... you are simply overvaluing him - he shot 8.2% a few years ago as well, so this in not WAY out there for him... he is also 27 and has had only one season of more than 50 pts (might get there this year) - 3 years ago he has 71GP &amp; just 23 pts (at age 24) ... he's in his prime right now and being overpaid @ $5.5M until he's 32 in 2023... while Jake is just finding his own &amp; only 22 ... has increased his production from last year and plays a physical game to boot!
