probably right it will take more... but given their depth at D and lack of picks and departures of some scoring I don't think they could demand Hughes. I would say Virtanen.

If would take Hughes or Boeser.... top pair d at 23.... don’t think they’d move him for much less. And what part of what your trading is scoring? Granlund is meh, Juolevi is looking like a bust, Goldobin spent a portion of the year in the AHL... and we’d rather have Werenski over all the picks...

Hughes & Boeser are NOT on the table .... Gaudette, Virtanen or Juolevi (he was playing really well in the AHL before his injury GP 18 G 1 A 12) would be the young assets VAN would move

I don't really think the Canucks are prepared to move any of their top 4 or 5 players/prospects right now.... not even for Werenski

And I 100% agree with you on that. I don’t think Vancouver would move with it would take to get him and I don’t think Werenski is on what table for Columbus to move either. That being said Werenski is more likely to be moved then Jones is....

Unless CBJ locks Werenski up, I'd like to see an offer sheet sent his way then. Vancouver is in a position to overpay for a Dman of his age and value. Unless they can land one of larger ticket UFA Dmen. But then again they don't get the age advantage.

If going above the 8.1 million threshold than go for it. Otherwise I think CBJ would just match the offer sheet.
