Just curious, it'd be great to see Jack in a VAN jersey with his bro. It's prob not enough but heres just a quick player summary...
Gaudette- beast in college few yrs ago, and I see him as a 2nd line centre who can produce 50ish points.
Virtanen - A speedy winger who needs a change of scenery. Can still put up points and proves to be physical when needed.
Woo - Solid 2nd line RHD. Put up PPG numbers with Moose Jaw in WHL this season. I see him as a Kevin Bieksa type of player in his prime. Can produce and is physical

The lottery isn't rigged, lol. Each of the non-playoff teams get a shot at the top 3 picks and just because a team with a very low probability of landing one of those picks gets one doesn't mean it's rigged.

Knowing Joe Sakic's demand, the Canucks would have to give up an additional prospect/player who is way way way better than Virtanen.

The only chance VAN has to move up to 1st is if they get 2nd or 3rd OA ... otherwise they would be mortgaging too much of their future

What would be the benefit for the nhl if Edmonton is a powerhouse?

Edmonton is gonna make them similar money regardless, if LA or NYR win the lottery I'd understand saying it's rigged but why would Gary Bettman risk getting caught rigging the lottery for Edmonton?
