It appears that Leafs are on the road to self destruction if they continue to overpay for their own RFAs. Really Fignn, an unrealistic cap and 20 man roster.

I think that's a legit possibility.

Dubas was angling yesterday saying Matthews was valued that high because he's a C and a premium goal scorer...things that Marner obviously isn't....but that doesn't mean Marner's agent will care

Sign him to a bridge deal and let him cash in in a few years when Marleau is gone and the cap goes up again. When Seattle comes in the cap should really go up like it did with Vegas.

Bob had 20 so I figure and try I know it not realistic but just to see if it could work with small changes only losing brown and not needing to trade Zatsiev then getting he has no value and nobody will take him
