Price has to be the worst choice by a long shot, makes absolutely no sense to put him over Karl Alzner. Bad pick. Same with Rinne and Suter just because they are old doesn't make it a bad contract...

???

I agree that Rinne's contracts arent bad (they are actually pretty good). His current contract expires this offseason and his next one is fantastic in terms of AAV and has low risk due to its short term.

Suter's contract is terrible. He is signed into his 40's along with Parise and MIN will be stuck with dead weight in a few years

Suter's contract is bad. He's lived up to it so far but there is too much term left, and the recapture penalty possibility. If he signed a $7.5m x 6 (the rest of his contract) deal this upcoming off-season it would be a labeled a bad contract as soon as it hit the wire. Parise's matching deal is far worse, his play won't last as long as Suter's.
