That’s not more than Matthews. It’s also more term, which is a huge factor.

Matthews for 7 years was probably around 13 million.

Regardless, 8.5+3 is 11.5

Sorry but from what's being reported, Mitch Marner is seeking at least Jack Eichel money. No way he's taking less. $8.5 million is a joke and reportedly Marner and his agent already said no to $8 million per.
