Now that Hagelin is official without Jaskin in the trade, will the Caps move Jaskin to shed the salary and get a pick back? Move for a defenseman?

STL

Additional Details:
Any team that seeks young, depth forwards with some upside. I know this won't be STL, but I like to pick on Blues fans since I live in Kansas City.

I agree STL doesn't want him back. Maybe CGY or MIN or someone that needs a 13th guy for a long playoff run.

Like your thought on Minnesota netminder, maybe a flip of Jaskin to Wild to give them someone like Niederrieter was, Caps get Eric Fehr in return, another depth bottom 6 that can take draws, 52% for Minnesota this year and his size could be someone like Beagle on PK and 4th line come playoff time (not as proficient at the circle as Beags, but low risk move that can be made)

I can't believe you guys gave up a 3rd round pick for a guy who can't score.
Every other team in the Metro just won this trade.

HE IS NOT COMING TO DC TO SCORE GOALS....Hagelin will bring speed and checking to 4th line and consistency to PK. Ovi, Kuzy, Vrana, Oshie...I think the Caps can score goals without worrying about old Carl.

I hate to break it to you but he's 30 now. The wheels have fallen off. He wasn't nearly as effective this year as he was in years prior. It showed on two teams. Good luck with that.
