Description

I think svech should be sent to Charlotte. I am definitely in the vast minority, but hear me out. Svech's production has decreased steadily since the Nino trade and it's not really his fault. He's been thrust into a role w Martinook and Mcginn that doesn't really suit his game. He should be in the top 6, but w JW, Nino, TT, and Ferls producing the way they are, there's no room for him. Send him to Charlotte where he can light it up on a line w Necas and win the Calder Cup. They can build chemistry together and come up next year as line mates. Is he a bust? of course not, i just think that there isn't a spot in the lineup which fits him right now. He will still be an elite winger in the NHL one day, but it would be better for him to lead Charlotte to a Calder Cup vs. playing bottom six minutes on the canes. Replace him w a veteran center in Eric Staal, and this team seems primed for a playoff run.
