I don't like it at all. Vrana really shouldnt be talked about barring a superstar coming back. His game is improving at an impressive rate year-to-year, and I see him as a perennial 30 goal guy very soon. I wouldn't trade Vrana for Nylander straight up.

With these moves, it looks like a team about to rebuild. Why give up on next year?

Rebuilding? Those top 3 lines would rival any teams top 9.

I just see a lot of talent exiting the team. Vrana is a step away from being elite wing. Djoos is young, cheap, and has upside as a good puck mover. Everyone ****s in Niskanen, but he still has the worst assignments and hits/blocks a ton. All of a sudden we expect Jensen and Siegenthaler to take them? Foolish thinking. Orlov is a better candidate to be moved - easier replaced and clears a lot of cap.

I don't think Connor Brown is anything but a pricey 4th liner on a champion contender. He's not special. And Nylander isn't what this team needs, and you're giving up Washington's biggest sniper outside OV to get him. Feels like giving up in next year to me.

Djoo has very similar production to bowey.....you should remove your bias and understand that carrick and djoo are lateral moves and nylander is much better than vrana

Nylander is having a bad year and is a playmaking forward. Caps have enough playmakers they are in desperate need of shooters.

Djoos same as Bowey? Good lord...
