This team is so heavy in middle 6 wingers I wouldn't try to acquire any more.

Also this team has 5 d dressed. Did you mean to dress biega?

In regards to your question I think it would depend on Hughes, Pettersson, juolevi, Horvat and your goalies.

Pettersson has been incredible but if he either (a) has a sophomore slump or (b) can't stay healthy like this year your c depth remains bad.

Horvat has been great but for you guys to contend he needs to find another level. Be another Ryan Kesler for you guys.

That d corps is super questionable but not necessarily bad. Your depending on Hughes and Juolevi to play big minutes. Many very good defenseman are eased in their first year, especially if under 21 (see Sergachev for example. Played like 14 minutes per night his first year). If Hughes can be the franchise defenseman you want him to be and can be right away, that looks like a decent d core. If he just isn't ready that's an ugly core. If he is the next Ryan Murray (ie a solid enough defenseman but nothing special but looked great prenhl), that d corps looks baaad. Add in that Juolevi has under impressed since draft and that's a lot of risk

A lot of the success that Vancouver has had this year can be tied to the fact that Markstrom had a solid if unspectacular year. If he can replicate that you'll be better off. Demko on the other hand is supposed it be the goalie of the future but frankly he has kind of sucked in the AHL

All in all I think the above team would be about 10th in the west but has a lot of questionmarks so really could be like 3rd in their division (5th in the west), or near the bottom of the west if that d corps doesn't develop well and Petterson is injured/sophomore slumps

If this team's only acquisitions Connolly and Vrana, and we have to give up Gaudette, Tanev a prospect and a pick to get him, while resigning Goldy for 3 @ 1.75.....

....dead last.
Congrats, you just built the worst Canucks team in 2 decades.
