@Smitty426 I think this may be my favorite team I've ever created.

I feel like it would be pretty hard for Shero to pull of ALL of those MASSIVE trades. The process of these trades coming together and making things work with other GMs, the guy would have to have Hermione's time-turner and never sleep. I'd say he could pull off 2-3 of these trades this summer though. I think getting Trouba (bit of an overpay up there), Nurse(ok value) and Athanasiou(bits and pieces that they could get elsewhere without costing them this player) would be great. VGK doesn't accept because they still need to re-sign Karlsson and Subby, so there is no room for Zajac. As an Avs fan, I have to say, KEEP BUTCHER! I wish we could've.

I appreciate your insightful and well written post. Also, great HP reference. The Zajac trade was a stretch, but it was more meant to represent that we would get rid of him while retaining almost $2 mil of his contract, than to be exactly who and what I wanted to trade him for. And yea we could probably switch the 1st for a 2nd in the Trouba trade, and send it to Detroit instead. And I really like Butcher, but this team would play much faster than he does. He isn't the most fleet of foot.
