AT LEAST YOU GOT CREATIVE AND ADDRESSED THE DEFENCE . i think getting rid of zaitsev contract will cost you at least a third do not expect a pick back

Ottawa has 3 2020 6th rd picks. One of them would work.

Colin Miller is younger, signed for less, signed for longer and better than Muzzin. He'll cost more than Muzzin.

Carolina could be one of the teams offersheeting Kapanen. A 2nd for Kapanen, at 4 mil, and keep Pesce looks like a better deal and only costs 1 mil more.

Free agency starts in July. Draft is in June. Leafs would be getting 2020 draft picks, not 2019 picks. Read a couple of rumours that Miller wouldn’t cost much. Vegas needs to shed salary and I don’t think he suited up for games in the playoffs. Pretty sure he didn’t play Game 1.
