Description

Arizona trade: idea here is to swap 1st round picks so Rangers trade up to select 'their' guy. Hoping it'd be Caufield as what ive read, kid is a sniper.

Carolina trade: Seems like its a foregone conclusion the Fox kid will end up in NY.

Buffalo trade: An idea as I don't believe the Rangers will make a push for Karlsson and/or Trouba.

Ottawa trade: salary dump for Sens to get to cap floor.

ZUCC: Rangers sign back Zucc and slap the 'C' on his jersey.

Left roughly $8mm on the table...didn't want to guess on a big signing and just listed some ideas for trades at the draft. I can see the Rangers trading up again with the picks acquired in the 3rd.

Agreed even as a nyr fan Maybe if we take out the 3rd rounder that trade will go through. Vesey is in a weird spot for a while and maybe he needs a new team to show who he actually is but for sure he isnt worth a 3rd and moving up. Also the salary cap is going up to around 83M next year so that will open up at least 3m in cap allowing a big free agent signing.
