Description
Their have been great ideas for MIN lately, but I wanted to explore some other potential options? Values are probably a little off but here is my breakdown, so please bare with me.

Trade with ANA
Perry Waives NMC to play for Bruce. MIN gets a bad contract to get rid of a bad contract. Also MIn adds other items to get rid of Rask. C. Perry would become a 4th line guy for 2 years in MIN. ANA would get Aberg back (where he did a good job), and other pieces.

TOR Trade:
Tor needs Defense and Cap relief. Deal addresses Tor needs and gives Min Future NHL talent players and an insurance pick in case Spurgeon stays or Tor has a great next year.

NYI deal (probably only happens if all J. Eberle, B. Nelson and A. Lee walk for NYI).

NYI might need to revamp offense with UFA departures. They get a Top 6 guy that can can put of 30 and a good pick. MN wild get Spurgeon replacement, bubble player with good upside and late pick (the following year).

I think this would make MIN a playoff team next year, while also building with good foundation for years to come.

I like it all. If Brown got a shot to play with Koivu, I think great things would happen.

Thanks for the comment. I think that would be a great shutdown line. I just didn't want C.Perry on the bench right away (hard to have an 8.6 mil player scratched). Thanks again

You are right, NYI probably wouldn't trade Pulock. But if they didn't retain any UFA's (which is unlikely), I think this might be a decent hockey trade. Zucker would be a potential 25-30 goal addition and would be a good fit for the speed of the Eastern Conference. Thanks for the comment

I see Zucker and Pulock as more of a 1:1 trade but if the isles threw in ho sang, I’d be willing to gamble on him. However, I would target Dobson or Wilde instead of Pulock...even though I do like Pulock.
