Thanks for the Feedback. What if the 2nd was switched to a 1st? Or would more still be needed?

If that is the price, I would do that for a year of Zib. I think this lineup would give the Wild a deep playoff run.

Maybe not. Just thought they could get a bottom 6 center while also getting an extra pick in next years loaded draft. Thanks for the comment

Thanks for the reply. I think it is a higher package for 1 year of Zib, Khovanov is MN Wil #4 prospect. MN is not giving up Rossi of Boldy with the Cap situation. Thanks for the comment!

Point taken, I think I will update this. Thank you. I think Zacha is much better for the credit given. He was on pace for 40-45pts this season playing on the 3rd line in NJD. I think more ice time and better wingers would see an up tick in points

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BurgerBoss</b></div><div>Imo this falls under the classic quantity for quality trades. Granted NYR could have use for the assets they're getting here, but none of them is even close to being good enough the fill the hole moving Zibanejad would create.
Value-wise, it needs to be in the ballpark of a move such as:
:wild
Mika Zibanejad
:rangers
Matt Dumba
Matthew Boldy
Dmitry Sokolov
2020 1st round pick (MIN)</div></div>
Thanks for the input. I think I would do this with the following edit. Remove Boldy and add Adam Beckman and a 2021 2nd.

Plus, did you know that Coyle and Zucker are best friends? They are.</div></div>
That is what I was thinking and long distance relationships are hard, so reunite them.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>newballcoach</b></div><div>As a Leafs fan that is a tough deal because it takes a lot of our depth on RW away (Bracco would ideally be Kapanen's replacement). That being said, I think the Leafs would do it. I could see Dubas trying to include Johnsson instead of Kapanen, or another Marlie forward prospect instead of Bracco. I would think they want an opportunity to have extension talks with Spurgeon first though.
I'm not sure Philly makes that move though.</div></div>
Thanks for your comments. In regards to the Toronto deal, I would look at other prospect instead of Bracco, but I do think Kap would need to be a part of the deal. I wasn't sure about the Philly deal, but they might want a Proven Goalie for a couple of years while the Kid gets some seasoning in the NHL and I think Dubby would be a good mentor, plus Fletcher has some ties to these players

5 Trades-- TOR VGK or any team BOS EDM TBL
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ON3M4N</b></div><div>Think of it as a 3-way trade, but for retention reasons it's two separate deals. Backes would know ahead of time his final destination and would waive. For example...
To ARZ - Backes + Cehlarik + mid pick/prospect
To BOS - depth player or late pick or older under achieving prospect
To MIN - Backes @ 50% retained
To ARZ - Pick/prospect
-Boston gets cap space
-Arizona gets $3 million in dead cap (only paying $1.25 mill) + picks/prospects
-Minnesota gets Backes @ 50% retained
^That's the framework of how you move Backes using a cap floor team.</div></div>
Interesting idea for sure, and has some contingencies and moving parts. I think Min would be an easy no on that specific deal. Min would not want a return of just Backes even at 50% without anything else, the whole point of a team accepting Backes would be to get additional pieces in return.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ON3M4N</b></div><div>After July 1st Backes is only owed $5 million total over the next two seasons. He's a prime candidate to get flipped to a cap floor team who would retain 50% and flip him to another team of his choice. In total the middle man gets a $3 million hit per year, while only having to pay $1.25 million per year. IDK where you read that rumor, but Sweeney refused to include a 1st for Brayden Schenn, I can't imagine he changed his stance for Staal.</div></div>
Which Cap floor team our you thinking? He still will have a NTC for 8 teams. So he could deny a trade to a lot of the Cap Floor teams. My best guess those 8 teams will at least include Ottawa, Arizona, NJD, FLA, Van and he will still get to pick 3 others. CBJ might be a an option if they dont retain any of their UFAs (they are also low on picks). All I am saying is it still might be hard to find a trade partner.

I think I would take that deal if it were MIn 2020 4th or 2019 5th (from Was). Min 2019 4th is from NYR and would be a high 4 (and on this ACGM team I traded away Min 3rd)

Backes will be easier to move than people think (post July 1st). Sweeney is also very much a draft and develop guy and his 1st rounder was basically a non-starter in all trade takes this TDL. Wagner just signed here, is a hometown kid and fan favorite. I also don't see Sweeney moving on from Senyshyn just yet as the Bruins have been happy with how he's develop from a offensive minded scorer to a 200ft player.</div></div>
Thanks for the comment. I still think Backes will be tough to move. His NMC does move to an 8 Team NTC, but you still need to find a team with Cap Space willing to take on his contract. He might accept a trade to come home to Min. I read a rumor that Boston put their 2019 1st and Kurlay on the table for Eric Staal at the TDL, so I think Zucker would fetch a greater return especially if Min took on Backes. Thanks again
