I don't see TB moving Cernak. With Foote, he's their best young RHD. Already a solid roster player.

I always thought Foote was better but I suppose there are other young RHD to target. How about the Minnesota trade?

Probably no to that too. Kreider would likely walk at the end of the season, Pionk would be a 3rd pair D which they don't really need and Gettinger is left handed winger prospect which MIN already has a surplus of. Kaprizov on the other hand is probably the most skilled forward in KHL and MIN has great expectations towards him. He can become as good as Panarin. He has the potential.

This may be long but you put thought into all your posts so I don't want to rush a reply.
Two quick thoughts. I like that you have Panarin at 7 x 11. Too many people think we can get him cheap, but with Coach Q. In Florida now, I'm not sure we can get him at all. Also, you have three new salary detentions, to go along with the one we already have with Spooner. I think the limit is three total.
Ottawa trade - I don't think Smith is so bad that you need to give up that much. You could get a third for Vesey in a deal by himself. You have $8mil in cap room so you could keep him, buy him out or bury him.
Edmonton trade - I don't think Shatty has any value right now. He could build it back up by the deadline, but right now I'm not sure you get either piece, much less both.
Carolina trade - looks good to me. Maybe Canes prefer a pick, but as far as value goes your deal is good.
Minnesota trade - love the idea but Minny would say no. Maybe if you make the 2nd rd pick a 2020 conditional on Krieder signing an extension. Maybe a better prospect than Gettinger. But its definitely an idea to explore.
Tampa trade - Cernak would be a great add but I'm not sure Tampa would go for it. I'd even forego the draft pick flip to get it done.
