-Theodore is a perfect fit for Weber and he is still young.
-Haula can play both wing or center in the top 9 to replace Drouin.

-Drouin is only 24 years old and is very talented. He has the potential to become an elite player in Vegas with Gallant.
-Victor Mete is already a NHL defensman at 20 years old and can only improve his game

Pretty sure that would be a really big GFY (no) from Vegas. If you dangled Suzuki (instead of Drouin) and added Brook or Juulsen, you might get a little nicer response ... though still probably just a "hell no".

That's a no from MTL! Theodore has done nothing special and is like 24yo (only one or two complete seasons in the NHL)... He wasn't really great with team CAN either... Haula is another 3rd liner and Holden isn't special. No need for MTL here.

every Piece MTL is moving is better so there is no upside to giving up a former 3rd overall pick we gave up our 8th overall picked prospect for .
nor is there an upside to trading Mete for Theodore as Mete's younger and will fill the role we need long term .

Romanov is available july 1st 2020 and he'll fill the role you want Theodore for .

if anyone i'd rather trade for Yandle in FLA who's style is almost molded to complement Weber .
it gives us Top Pair help now and as he age's he can play a reduced role on third pair with Brook or Fleury .
this empowers Mete and Romanov Longterm while also giving us a dominant PP1 and PP2
