Description

Spurgeon provides offensive spark and PK abilities as a RHD. Hagelin also obviously gives us some PK abilities and pairs with Bura on the third line, who gets his last shot in DC. A lot of people think we should give Vrana bigger long term deal now, I think we should give him the lower bridge and extend him (and Spurgeon) to a LTD once Holtby's contract is off the books in 20-21 when Samsonov is presumably ready, to maximize our talent for this year when Ovi is still in his prime.

Also -- everyone on here seems to ignore the $1.15M in overages -- doesn't that apply to this year's cap?

The overage is calculated into the overall cap hit. I have added every salary up on my previous AGMs and they are always $1.15M lower than the cap hit shown at the top.
