As a jets fan I’m a lover of pionk. But the rangers might need to add a third round pick

the entire issue he had was playing time. IDK if he would be playing over Kakko, Kravtsov, Buchnevich, Kreider, Zibanejad, possibly strome/chytil.. let alone if the rangers sign panarin. I get not wanting less that 10 m per game, i just don't see him getting more than 11-12 on the rangers which he may not like either

I would have no problem adding a 3rd or maybe a conditional 4th that could become a 3rd based off of points scored.

Also I wouldn't be shocked if one or more of Kreider/Strome/Vesey/Namestnikov got traded this year. Lastley I am a big believer you accumulate talent however you can. Roslovic is a quality prospect and would be a great addition to this young forward group.

I think it might make up TOO much of the difference.

I would think the trade is something like

Perreault + Roslovic for Pionk + Strome.
