Add 700k to Karlsson minimum and 850k to Duchene minimum. The Ehlers trade is interesting but it you are chewing up more of WInnipeg's salary cap with lesser pieces than if they just kept Ehlers. The Ottawa trade isn't too shabby. Alzner would be a good AHL D man for the youngsters. The Brodie trade works if one of those picks is a 1st otherwise the flames don't care for it. He's still a top 2 dman and a very solid top 4 dman regardless of how badly the Avs destroyed him in the playoffs wink. Shaw had a good year but isn't a 40pt guy year in and year out, so I don't think you can treat him like one. Flames have Bennett who is a cheaper, younger version of Shaw who will likely develop into a 25-40pt guy by next year (a point a game in the playoffs). Great locker room guy though, should keep him and Gally together because Duchene can piss off a locker room. The Arizona trade is just there and I don't think it does anything for Arizona, does it?

With skinner getting 9 apparently I dont think Duchene signs for much less. Although the Sabres are a dumpster fire so I could be wrong

MTL wont gave more than 8.5M for Duchene & 9.5M for Karlsson. They want more ? Go somewhere else. Shaw on 82 games is 60+ points this year. Shaw was quite something this year. No bad penalty, creating space for Domi. Shaw + 2nd round pick for Brodie sounds fair. Ehlers trade doesn’t really work because Jets need to get clear cap space. IMO

Both Dreger and the Montreal French Newspaper said that Karlsson isn't happening, Ottawa has moved on and Montreal landing Karlsson is less then 5%.
