I like this for the Blues. That's a deep defense and as good as Sanford was in the finals, that's a legit top-6 winger to add to make this team even better.

Columbus declines, Allen is a cap dump at this point and Schmaltz isn't showing any signs of being an NHL regular.

I don't see FLA and CBJ accepting those deals.

Pointless for FLA to move a 70-point winger for a 3rd pair D and a player with health issues plus a low pick...

Also Allen and Schmaltz don't really have value, Allen is more or less a cap dump and Schmaltz is a fringe NHL player, while Savard is good solid D.

Plus Mtl would outbid anyone for Savard IF he was available . This one would be outbid in a second .
