to start.. how bout moving Marleau instead to clear cap space since he asked for a trade?

That Edmonton deal is horrendous.

Colorado deal is decent value, doesn't help Toronto though.

Arizona deal might be the worst I've seen. Would much rather take a 2nd round pick as compensation if that's the only offer that Johnsson gets.

& why flip Kassian after getting him? .. you basically just traded Zaitsev and Kapanen for Benning... makes that trade even more awful.

Best you could do? Leafs cap situation isn't that dire. A player or two has to be traded which other teams have to do also. You've make these complicated by doing so many deals.
