To answer your question, I have to assume Trouba hand cuffed them by saying where he would sign long term or his contract demands were crazy high.

Otherwise I can't see how a team like Toronto wouldn't have outbid that offer

And the Flyers ? The 11ovrl (more value than the 20) + one of their young D (to replace pionk). + the Flyers NEEDS a RHD !!!
