Under no circumstances is San Jose going to give up Timo Meier, and if they were it wouldn't be for that deal. You'd have to offer sheet for him and I don't think that's going to happen in the reality that exists outside of CapFriendly

maybe the bruins will improve but you're shipping $10m out. A bad contract, a not great contract, and a deal that could realistically be moved. Don't think anyone would take Backes
