I for once would like my team to go for it. Lou isn't getting any younger and probably wants to win one before he retires.
I went over board by putting in Marner which won't happen. That would probably still be Bailey. I just moved him because I can't stand how non committal he is in the O zone.
I don't like having that young of a defense but I don't think Dobson goes back to juniors this year.

I really don't think Lehner or Greiss need to go. Bobrovsky is only marginally better than Lehner, but likely wants nearly twice as much. Greiss should at least be kept through next season until Sorokin or Soderstrom become options. I also don't like trading our best goaltending prospect and a top-6 forward for a low first rounder for that package, seems like a weak return for two guys who are and will be part of this team's core going forward.

I agree we should go for it this season, I'm not totally against getting Panarin, considering how anemic the scoring could be this season. I just really hate the idea of spending over $30 million AAV on free agents when they could just as easily improve and develop for much, much cheaper
