Description
The nonsense trades involving a guy who has not played a single NHL game are getting out of a hand. If you value him so highly and he is that good - keep him.

I think your missing the point of Bracco being added to trades.

He's in A grade prospect on a team already full of top end RW's. A lot of rebuilding teams or cap challenged teams would love to acquire a kid of Bracco's age and talents.

Do half the people utilize him properly in trades....not likely however he often comes up due to the depth we have at RW.

I don't disagree with you in the fact that some teams would like to have him. And yes the utilization in trades has been foolish.

I highly doubt anyone sees him as an A Grade Prospect at 22 turning 23. He's not a late bloomer either, he's a talented player but with many holes in his game that keep him out of the NHL. I like Bracco and if the Leafs move Kapanen (who I think should be moved) then he could get a shot in the lineup, but I also think someone better defensively would be a better add for TO than Bracco. He's a PP specialist and the Leafs have 2 better versions of Bracco in Marner and Nylander.

If he has high value after this past season in the AHL, then he should be traded for defensive help. I just don't see Bracco ever emerging in TO.

I don't believe he'll merge in Toronto either but he could slot on a handful of teams as the 2-3 RW and added powerplay time. He does have holes in his games but a lot of people who trade him in ARMCHAIR overlook that for whatever. I think he's good trade bait just not AS good as some people claim.

Me personally, I'm a fan of a Power Forward style of game. I'm excited to see how Yegor Korshkov game translates to North America.

The other Russian is the one that intrigues me more, he killed penalties in the KHL and was a better scorer. I think he could be a good addition to the Matthews line, someone who has the size to crash the net and create space for Matthews and Nylander to dummy everyone else. If Matthews gets a full season in next year, he should score 60 and could end up with 60 assists if he had a winger who could crash the net and bat home rebounds. He didn't have that at all last year.
