Description

The more I think about it, the more likely this seems. One player will certainly be moved, and it’s most likely Vesey as there reportedly is interest in him.
If and when the Rangers miss out on Panarin, they sign Kreider to an extension, and this becomes our line-up.
If this (standing pat) is worst case scenario, then it’s not too bad after all.

I think if Buffalo was willing to give up a third for Vesey the deal would have already been done.

Me too. They could just be patient. Maybe they are looking for a UFA winger, or a different trade target. At the end of the day, someone will be willing to give up a 3rd rounder for a 35 point 3rd line power forward.
