Description
Depending on health, Hyman may start the season, if not should be hitting the roster before the end of October.

Dermott will be November at best before he's back.

Until Marner is signed, I don't believe the Leafs have made any signings official other than Spezza, Hutchinson & Marincin.

So I believe the media has put the cart before the horse with: Agostino, Shore & Gravel; saying that, I think only Agostino cracks roster to start the season.

Line-up changes, & either Mikheyev or Agostino fall out of roster upon Hyman arrival.

Dermott replaces Liljegren & takes Holls spot once healthy.

Enough change for two .50 cent pull tab tickets.

Bottom pairing D is a little soft & our left side isn't the best but it sounds like we could possibly see some forward shuffling if Matthews wants to keep blowing stink.
Obviously I think there will be further TDL deals again this year looking for upgrades, but I do see promising future coming up our D pipeline.

No way Liljegren starts the year as the 7th D. He is young and needs to be playing in the AHL. There was talk that he would have been called up last year after XMAS like the Leafs did with Dermott a couple years ago, but he got hurt. I still don't think he makes the team out of camp but he may be up with the team mid year.

Shouldn't this be called the Looney Lineup then? And yeah, I agree with @nchest about Liljegren. As of the Marlies last playoff run, he did not look NHL ready. So, if we see him at some point this upcoming season, it will be a call up, not because of injury, but because the team feels he is ready, and similar to how they did it with Dermott.

Yeah great criticism, considering he's only there because his cap matches Dermotts & I would prefer to start the season with 22 & not 21 players on my roster.

Even better that you have no answer for replacing Liljegren with another member of the Leafs.

I'm not disagreeing with you that he's young & needs work, but criticism without an answer of your own.. you might as well be shouting into an empty room because I don't care.
