Right at the cap, with only Tanev and Markstrom as expiring UFA contracts. IMO Benning has done a poor job setting up the cap for the future.

He has done a poor job of cap management. 2 years until Pettersson signs a massive deal. Not that he cares though as by all indications he’s fired if they miss the playoffs
