the problem with this deal and the reason it will never happen is Jones term is only 3 years.

Nobody wants to pay Marner his asking price so I don't see this happening

Any trade with Marner.. by the Leafs or ACGMs is meaningless unless it with a signed Marner. Leafs win the Cup with Jones? Never knew there were such guarantees. The same Jones who has won one playoff round in six NHL seasons.
