Description
I'm not a Maple Leafs fan, but I am a big hockey fan and I can't wait to see what Shanny, Lou and Babs do with this organization. But let's be realistic. Stamkos will sign in Toronto, they'll draft Matthews for the 1-2 punch up the middle, move JVR for another top4 dman in Fowler, and move Bernier for cap help. The Michalek trade is obviously iffy, and is definitely not a necessary move but could be made to the right team.

I like the team and I do think that TOR will take a serious run at Stamkos, but will be offering a contract on a slight hometown discount (more around 9). I really don't see Fowler being a good fit for TOR, they already have Rielly and Gardiner as offensive left handed defenseman and I think Fowler is just overkill unless you move Gardiner. Also not sure how I feel about Schultz, I mean he's loaded with potential so I wouldn't be upset if they acquired him and if theres a coach who can help him its Babs but I feel we have enough risky offensive defenseman. Although if we did turn him into the Star he was going to be, it would be nice going into the future with Rielly on the left and Schultz on the right.
