Tampa's depth really shows, I want to see what Volkov can do with good talent but likely would get sheltered minutes but an odd shift with stammer would be cool. I want to give verhaeghe a shot, why not he had a good year last year in the ahl he earned something especially if he has a good camp.

As we saw with Nylander....delayed signings affect the cap in the first year. Gotta think that is some leverage Point and Marner will using. Sign us in November the cap goes up and you have to get rid of another player. A team with cap might put in an offer sheet after the season starts.

RFAs aren't really "holdouts". They just haven't signed with any team in the world, including any of the 31 NHL teams.
