Description
Transactions happen in this sequence:
-Smith buyout
-Colombus trade
-Anaheim trade
-Nashville trade
If you’re an Anaheim fan and know more about Kase that suggests he has potential to be more than a solid 2nd line guy (meaning this trade cannot happpen), or if your team has no room for DeAngelo, then let me know.
Kreider trade is fair imo. It happens WITH an extension in place with Nashville.
Strome likely gets traded at the deadline
Playing Buch and Strome at LW isn’t ideal but it works so...

Kase is probably the second just valuable forward on the team, extremely good driver of play and in the transition game, also he was on pace for nearly as many points as Rakell last year (even though it was a down year for him)

DeAngelo is excellent as well. If he is paired with someone who is solid in their own end, then there is less pressure on DeAngelo and he can make things work offensively. This season he had somewhere close to 30 points in about 60 games playing with a subpar team around him. If Anaheim declines, I could understand it. I just see them both as players with such similar value.

Value wise isn't horrible ig... But ANA needs more of a shutdown man, and the value is in NYR's favor, I've also seen people trade DeAngelo to dump Shattinkirk which I'd be ok with

If we added a 3rd and one of our shutdown LD prospects (Lindgren/Rykov) would u accept then?
And giving up DeAngelo to dump Shattenkirk isn’t worth it imo. Gorton would be able to find a better, smarter solution than that.
