Why trade for Quick? While NJD will be a much improved team, they won't be a real contender for a few years. So why give up a very good player, a really good prospect, another prospect and a 1st rd pick for a 33yr old goalie?

McLeod, Jacobs, and a first round pick?

That could probably get you four years of Quick or it could probably get you Braden Holtby, who's eligible to sign a long term extension right now, is only 29, and has already won two more playoff games than Quick, with a better save percentage along the way.

This is a mistake. Just like aedoran said, Palmieri (top6 RW)) and McLeod (potentially top9 F) AND A FIRST for a goalie on decline

Also, OTT has Anderson & Nilsson and 3 goalies in AHL so forgot Schneider to OTT
