Except that a 5 year deal for chucky brightlights brings him right to UFA without buying any UFA years out. sooooo not super realistic. team also doesnt need ANOTHER 4th liner

I feel like thats gonna be the trend to all these RFAs, starting with Matthews, then soon to be marner(if I had to guess)

You will see a full on lockout if that happened. the entire point of RFAs are to be cost controlled early so their markets dont over inflate immediately. Marner is looking for 11 x 3
