I’ve been wondering if there’s anything between the Lightning and Marleau given BriseBois’ past signings. I can’t really say that I see the fit, though.

Anyway, with or without Rutta, this doesn’t leave us enough cap for performance bonuses, and we don’t have room for overages next year.

While I can see Tampa as an obvious option for Marleau considering he wants a cup badly and Tampa is a favourite, I believe he would rather stay as close to home as possible. So far, Vegas, Dallas and Nashville have all reached out, but Marleau does not want to earn a contract through a PTO. So things still yet to be decided.
