I'd rather just overpay Laine to Marner money than to agree to that deal. That pick would have to be a lock to be top 5 this year for me to accept this trade above.

I don't think other folks value Bjorkstrand the way we do, so this is going to look like a serious underpayment. And pointing out current circumstances to try to justify a lower price for a probable star never works - because if those circumstances didn't exist, the player being targeted would never be on the market in the first place.
