Description

Just getting rid of Condon's buried 1.325 million salary alone should be enough for the Lightning to get Point signed unless he wants a lot more than 10 million, but what cost would Tampa have to pay to move it? Folin is similar but cheaper than Rutta, Waked is a purely buried guy to manage the contract limits. What would Tampa pay to get rid of Condon's contract?

Don't do them any favors. If Montreal eats cap for them, make sure its a gross overpayment.

Sure, what would you add/change here? Would they keep Barré-Boulet and send a 2nd round pick instead? Or both? ...

I would demand a 1st (overpayment), and I assume Tampa hangs up the phone and likely trades one of their good players with term to fit Point. I don't see any teams doing them a favour though.
