Why would Colorado? You get out of the Erik Johnson contract while picking up Schultz and a 2nd. The pens would never offer that much for Erik Johnson

The Johnson contract is not a burden on them, as they loads of cap room... They are flush with draft picks, have zero use for Jack Johnson... And Justin Schultz only has 1 year left on his deal, and will likely be looking for EJ money at the end of the season....... And, EJ is better than Schultz in the first place. It makes absolutely no sense for them to do this.
