Cogliano and Comeau are both value-positive players. Eriksson isn't, and his contract makes him much worse. The second doesn't make up for that.

Eriksson and a second and a third (at least one of which is in 2020) for some B prospect that saves face plus the sixth would be fair. And I'm not even sure that Dallas has the cap room for him.

They're not great but they're very movable and still employ serviceable players (which Eriksson is not) You'd need either a better sweetener or retaining more of the contract
