Canucks should not trade Juulsen. He's been good this year and has another year at 800,000

You could at least have some idea what you’re talking about or know anything about the other team. I guess then your proposed trade wouldn’t be so terrible.</div></div>
McMichael definitely regressed number don't lie. Capitals will fail his development

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Campabee</b></div><div>Just cause we have 6/7 Better D men, doesn't mean we will trade Wifi for scraps who won't even crack Laval's lineup. We can trade one of those "better" D for a better forward and keep Xhekaj. Matheson, Guhle, Harris, Engstrom and Hudson aren't going to play 3rd pairing minutes, having Xhekaj on the team is just as important as having Guhle or Hudson. We can discuss a trade for Matheson, Harris or Engstrom but Guhle, Hudson and Xhekaj are earmarked for our future D core along with Reinbacher and Mailloux</div></div>
Harris would be a guy I'd be interested in not sure what Montreal would want in return

Canadiens have 6/7 defenseman better then Xhekaj right now they should trade him for forward help
Washington gets a youngish hard working bottom six forward and a pick for a guy who was drafted 5 years ago who didn't make the roster last year and regressed. not much value in McMichael.

What Id like to see happen
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Danny_MrGM_Briere</b></div><div>The way I like to think about it is, what if Beau continues his success in Vancouver and has a great season? In that case, there would be a ton of demand for him at a 50% retained $2m cap hit at the deadline and we could potentially get a 1st or a good prospect. Not a fan of Rodrigues so that's my ideal situation</div></div>
Yea I'd be fine with that just need to move out a winger for a center this offseason

Then we won't have to ship out Beauvillier for nothing and can at least wait until deadline to retain and get a much better return</div></div>
Clifton is just better then Dermott and Bear is gonna be injured for quite a while. Trading Beauvillier frees up the room for Rodrigues so look at is a 1 for 1. Silovs can be backup I just had extra money to spend

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ktownchef</b></div><div>I think that's too much money for Rodrigues and also I hope the Canucks look short term with a Pius Suter or trade for a Michael McLeod so they leave room for Raty in a year or two to take over that role.
Rest of the signings seem fine although Allvin is on record saying it's unlikely they'll spend money on a backup. However he did say they probably wouldn't use a buyout so who knows.</div></div>
I really like Rodrigues. Perfect two-way 3rd line center in my eyes. Suter would be 2nd option tho

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Spanky227</b></div><div>so dumping sven's salary, what are you giving up for that. Goldobin is not a b+ prospect as a 24 year old in the AHL. at once he was but he lost his 3rd pairing gig to fantenberg. doesn't exactly scream b+ prospect-- on top of that you are selling the rangers on a prospect where they have about over 8 better options on D (Skjei, Trouba, Fox, ADA, Lindgren, Miller, Rykov, Lundkvist, or Keane)-- plus you are dumping some salary which you would have to pay more for... rangers will just work with boston, colorado, or any of the other 5 teams that'll pay more for him</div></div>
Are you high? Goldobin is not a defenseman.
