Leafs have no interest in what probably is the worse contract in the NHL....Huberdeau. Way too much to give up for Konecky especially when negative value Risto is included in the trade.

I'll keep the player with term. Yes he struggled but he should bounce back

Is Shane Doan giving OEL another chance to step up his a-game?

Maybe OEL will be the 1st player to be bought out two seasons in a row.

How would TK for two firsts, a good prospect and escaping Risto be an easy decline? Lmao

Do you think he brings luck to the Leafs?

Risto was fine last year and if he sucks again then it helps us tank he only has 3 years left which seems to be our rebuild timeline we don’t need to ditch him. There’s also no need to move TK for two late 1sts that doesn’t get you TK. I also wouldn’t define the prospect as good but to each their own

I think the Leafs would be pushing their luck if they sign him for three years.

I don't see him for 3 years.
At least 2 years would be enough.
Would anyone agree?

In this ACGM they signed him for 3 years. I think anything more than 1 year is too long.
