The Jets need Dillon more than Beauviller, no from Winnipeg.

I don’t see why Montreal or Washington would do those trades

I wouldn’t give up Raty for Addison

Canadiens have 6/7 defenseman better then Xhekaj right now they should trade him for forward help

Washington gets a youngish hard working bottom six forward and a pick for a guy who was drafted 5 years ago who didn't make the roster last year and regressed. not much value in McMichael.

And studnicka would be our 20th/21st forward

Heinola may be available, but probably only for a younger player with a few years of team control. Unlikely DeMelo is available.

Aidan McDonough maybe? He's been point per game in the NCAA for the last few seasons. Only a year older

Yes. He’s going to be full time in the NHL this year. Laviolette was awful for the young guys.

The caps don’t need a bottom 6 forward. McMichael has top 6 upside and skill. That’s what they need. We have plenty of guys who can hit and grind and play the PK. If there’s not much value in McMichael, why is he someone you want the Canucks to target? Because you know he’s a valuable piece.

Do not underestimate the effect Covid had on the development of 2019, 2020, and 2021 draftees.

Just cause we have 6/7 Better D men, doesn't mean we will trade Wifi for scraps who won't even crack Laval's lineup. We can trade one of those "better" D for a better forward and keep Xhekaj. Matheson, Guhle, Harris, Engstrom and Hudson aren't going to play 3rd pairing minutes, having Xhekaj on the team is just as important as having Guhle or Hudson. We can discuss a trade for Matheson, Harris or Engstrom but Guhle, Hudson and Xhekaj are earmarked for our future D core along with Reinbacher and Mailloux

It's hard to evaluate his value, he's a young defenseman with speed and skill but he's also a goon, in my opinion he's even more rare than alexander romanov (who got traded for the 13th overall pick simply because he was a young hitting defenseman with good skating)

I'm not turned off by an Addison for Raty swap, though I don't love it. I think Guerin might consider it too, because it doesn't seem like the coach likes Addison or wants to work with him at all to improve. You'd definitely have to take Rathbone out though. He would be considered a negative asset by Minnesota given their depth in the NHL and the prospect pool, all he'd do is block other guys we actually like. I would counter with Addison for Raty+3rd and see where that gets us.

or even Savard. I'd gladly trade Savard and Kovacevic before I'd trade Xhekaj. He brings an intangible confidence to his teammates that JACK STUDNICKA wouldn't compare to ever. I'd honestly believe Xhekaj would be a more valuable FORWARD than Studnicka. Thread Starter isn't there in this one, and has a history. I'm calling troll account, but I might be wrong

If McMichael doesn’t crack WSH roster this season, Aman certainly never would.

McMichael regressed? That’s a patently stupid take. McMichael was one of the most important Capitals draft picks playing for a Hershey Bears team that won the Calder Cup.

You could at least have some idea what you’re talking about or know anything about the other team. I guess then your proposed trade wouldn’t be so terrible.

Harris would be a guy I'd be interested in not sure what Montreal would want in return
