Description
Random depth trade which probably wouldnt happen at this time, but maybe as the season goes on if the wild keep struggling and look to make a move?

Looks like Suzuki isn't quite ready for the NHL, and after losing shaw the habs could use a gritty RW. Maybe, Hartman would fit in with Domi?

The habs have Leskinen, Alzner and Ouellet in the minors for depth at LD. Primeau is better than Lindgren and McNiven is in the ECHL because there is no room.

Trade Reilly to ‘Peg for a 5th rounder, call it a day. Lindgren has little to no trade value. Minny declines.

Lindgren is from Minnesota and had starting potential at one point, which is why I went with them.

Teams really don’t care where players come from, that’s a fan thing. As to starting potential that's pretty debatable. He went undrafted for a reason. He’s been pretty underwhelming in the AHL with back to back years under .890 sv%. He had a good little run as an emergency fill in but small sample size. I’m not sure he even will be a backup in the NHL unless he’s at the right place at the right time. He’s looking like a career 3 with a spell as a 2. Maybe an Al Montoya type at best.

But Minny would be a good place for him. They are organizationally weak in goal.

MN already has goalie KK and Robson splitting duties in the AHL, Baribeau in the ECHL, and they drafted a couple goalie this year. Is Lindgren better than any of this bunch? That's a tossup to me. No reason to get him then imo.

Reilly does nothing for MN. They'll have Seeler, Soucy, and Hunt fighting for the 6D position when Pateryn gets healthy as it is.

Hartman has been good so far, and is something MN lacks as a RHS FWD. The rest of the FWDs may stink but at least MN has a very good 4th line in Foligno/JEE/Hartman right now.

I said he had starting potential at one point. He was outplaying price for his first 10 NHL games, then like most goalies who suprise early on he faded.

But at one point he clearly had NHL potential, maybe he can find it again somewhere else but he's 4th on the depth chart in MTL.
