From the Blues perspective it doesn’t work cap wise this year and next year would be worse.

I really like Hall but I think we’ve already seen his best years production wise. His next contract doesn’t come without a little more than average risk of injury concerns.

Armstrong had a deal in place with Edmonton but Shattenkirk wouldn’t agree to an extension with the Oilers. Just pointing this out to show Army has wanted Hall before. This isn’t the deal that works though.

Hall wont sign an extension with St Louis, It's already been talked that he plans on testing free agency. And Hall wants Panarin money 7 x 11.5 at the very least.
